Having served in formal and informal leadership roles, personally and professionally since a young adult, learning through many mistakes, I'm not much different than anyone else. However, having the opportunity to work with so many different people, teams and leaders, side by side in their environment, on their turf, not only at a high level, but at a personal level is something few will experience.
At some point in my life, I found myself at a crossroads of sorts - you know, the "what's life all about" type thing. Coincidentally, a co-worker shared a book with me which truly inspired me to follow this path of self-discovery.
During this study, I became more interested in the development and success of the Leaders and people who make these business successful. Not merely as employees or revenue producers - but as people.
While my evolving philosophy didn't always line up with corporate America, I've embraced the resultant career changes over the years. Because of all this, I'm strongly compelled to share my unique experiences with others so they may benefit from the wisdom I've gained in my career and life.
